I have been craving sugary sweets so much lately. It's bad (I'm dreaming of Swedish Fish and Twizzlers). I'm participating in a crossfit six week program that focuses on eating well and safely learning all the exercises/movements, but a main emphasis of the program is focusing on cleaning up your diet. It's really so much fun and eliminating things like bread, rice, grains has made a huge difference in how I feel and my energy levels. However, the sugar cravings have been off the charts and I've let myself have some treats. So I thought it might be a good idea to earmark some paleo approved treats to make this week.
Don't worry, I still think ALL desserts should have a place in your heart (except sweetened condensed milk, that stuff is as bad as mayo in my book), but (unfortunately) moderation is key.
